I’m a mod on !gothindustrial@lemmy.world, and recently I’ve been attempting to update that community’s info. However, it looks like the changes I make aren’t federating? So for example, if I update the community info with my piefed.blahaj.zone account, the updated info displays when viewed from piefed.blahaj.zone, but visiting that community on lemmy.world doesn’t show the updated info.
Am I doing something wrong? is this a known issue?
It’s usually best to moderate with a local account from my experience
Yeah I assumed as much. Generally other mod actions for that community from this account works without issue, so I’m curious if this particular case is a known problem or not.
