My subscription to !postrock@lemmy.world still says “pending” even though I’ve posted there and tried subscribing a few times. This is a community I moderate, so I’m keen to resolve this issue if possible.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    Update: I’ve managed to resubscribe and set myself as a mod, but I’ve done these steps before and eventually the subscription and mod status reverted.

    I was able to join and leave the community without any issues. I’m guessing there was a federation issue when you tried to subscribe. Are you able to cancel the pending subscription at all?

      Thank you for looking into it! I retried a few hours ago and am successfully subscribed, but I’ve done this before and after a few days it went back to “pending” and my moderator status disappeared. I’m the only active mod on that community so I don’t think I was removed by someone else.

      Just following up on this: I haven’t unsubscribed but when I visit the community from my account I’m not longer showing as subscribed anymore. I was definitely subscribed last week.
