I think it was more that in the early days of the Nazi party they did accept socialists. It was more of a big tent party because they needed to attract members. Hitler was never a fan of socialism and as he gained power he purged the socialists from the party.

Yeah I think In a year or two this will be just as good as Reddit, maybe better. Personally I prefer Lemmy, it reminds me of Reddit before it gained mass appeal. The important thing is now there is a viable alternative to Reddit. Everytime Reddit does something controversial, this site will gain a wave of new users.

I work a union job, most people never leave. Usually the old guys retire in waves though. They’ve all known each other for decades and don’t want to have to train the next generation.
