Cool thanks, like I said I’m happy to have the option. Voting should be easy, painless, and as accessible as possible. It just feels like there’s a huge push for it and for me personally I’m not worried about voting on the day. I appreciate the answer though. Some things I hadn’t thought about.
Real question: Is there a benefit to voting early? In my state it’s way more annoying, Ohio, and I have plenty of time on election day. It feels like there’s a big push for it and I think it’s good that it’s an option but I don’t see the benefit overall unless you’re worried about not being able to vote on election day for whatever reason.
It’s weird seeing misney in the wild
Mildred Jessie Berryman (September 22, 1901 – November 7, 1972), who went by “Berry”: 66 (also spelled “Barrie”), was an early 20th century American pioneering researcher of lesbian and gay community in post-WWI Utah. She was also a photographer, a mineral merchant, and a manufacturing business co-owner with her girlfriend of over three decades.
She was super rad, there wasn’t any info here so I wanted to at least link to her Wikipedia: Mildred wikipedia
Ooh, forgot about that one so yeah, totally fair game.
Came to post this, of course someone beat me to it.
Oh man is this the new response?
Game looks pretty cool, and I never played it when it came out. Sucks that it doesn’t have modern net for it.
Path of exile? Never played it but seems right.
Yeah I absolutely loved sea of stars. I thought it was great the whole way through. Fun characters, and solid combat.
I’m really worried about the new dragon quest. It’s possibly my favorite series and I’m concerned that 12 is going to be action and not turn based.
It depends on context and company but in general I would avoid them the more professional the context. I work as a programmer for a pretty big company. I sometimes use them in chats to coworkers particularly if it’s just a regular conversation. We use teams and use the reaction emojis. But I avoid them in serious emails or conversations.
So I wouldn’t say they’re never to be used but in general they’re more casual. This obviously depends on company culture though. If you’re in a more casual setting or if others use them more freely then it’s probably more acceptable.
