Did you stub your toe?
To be clear, they’re talking about their anti cheat software. I’d rather see it die.
I reckon it’s because the question triggers cognitive dissonance. The answer they need to give makes them realise they are incompetent, or unreasonable, or capitulating with someone else who is. They don’t want to believe that about themselves so they get angry with you to shift the focus. Now you’re the problem and they don’t have to face their own failures.
This is an insightful and hopefully helpful take. Depressing AF for its truth though.
Yes it’s simultaneously understandable and disgusting. Not helped by the financial disincentive to avoid alienating people as you say. Reminds me of how much airtime sports get vs the rest of the news of the world. Ostriches gonna ostrich.
They wiped your ass for years. They’ll live.
Hopefully not if you don’t live in America.

Do you reckon it could be grown under shadecloth in sunny areas?
“Distro hoping” Nice Freudian typo.
Or even that there is a god at all
Thanks, hadn’t realised that’s what the demo looked like. Assumed it would be short and loop.
That doesn’t look like a demo given the length
Thanks, yes
Interesting, but it’s not clear how controller input is achieved. No one is using the keyboard. Perhaps a bluetooth joystick?
Thanks for responding. I figured that’s what the ratio would represent, but my client only shows the net score, no ratio. Maybe I need to play around with other clients. I barely ever used Twitter and deleted my account when Musk started his shenanigans, so I’m not really sure about how Twitter works in that regard. Anyway, I get the basic concept. Just can’t access the data.
Hmm, my client doesn’t seem to show a ratio. Using Connect. Where would one usually find that kind of information?
Yeah I’m not a fan of that.
Seems I’ve invited the wrath of the community. Still learning the etiquette. Regret asking the question as I appear to have really miffed some people. It’s a shame. I left Reddit because of the nastiness of the comments. Mostly here it has been so much better.
Perhaps not everyone uses the platform the same way you do? If someone provides a link to an explanation of a complex topic I think that can sometimes be valuable. You seem to have a very black and white view of how the platform is to be used.
“In the case of the Gonghe Photovoltaic Park, the presence of solar panels altered energy distribution across the desert, creating a more hospitable environment for plant life. The result? A transformation of the desert ecosystem that could have long-term benefits for biodiversity.”
