It works. You either have to link it with your mobile app or you use it standalone with a different user/id

I agree with this comment. As mentioned as answer in the post, to have a backup of these things is a big reason why I chose to selfhost. I had to switch devices (and operating systems) too many times. Moving data around everytime would be a hassle. To have all the important stuff not only stored but also organized and easy to access is very convenient and makes me stop worrying to accidentially lose my phone for example.
I just recently switched over to rpi-clone after doing backups of the booted SD with SD Card Copier, the GUI app on Raspberry OS.
The original version from billw2 didn’t work with modern OS versions. After doing some lookups in the issues and online, the users pointed to geerlingguy’s version, which seems to be maintained.
I’m not using rpi-clone-setup
but rpi-clone sdX
and after trying it for the first time, it worked. I swapped out the SD with the copy and the raspberry booted (it didn’t boot with billw2’s version).
Next step is to create a script for regular backups.

. I’m aware of the space issue. I quickly looked up other tools: partclone and fsarchiver seem to address the free space issue, but I never tried them so I cannot speak to that.I think buying a Pixel phone second hand solves this issue and reduces a little e-waste at the same time.
What are you using to download them as Markdown?
The movie wasn’t living up to the book though…
Happy to hear everyone is healthy and pregnency went without too many complications. Thank you for the wishes, all the best for your family and you!
Thank you, this is very helpful and reassuring. We’re at week 6 presumably. I’ve read a book which for pregnancy is helpful, but felt a little judgemenal about living vegan.
I’m vegetarian, my wife is vegan and I think this best reflects how I feel about it. Once you remove meat from your diet, you start to explore how flavourful everything else is.
Mine already died. Now i have to wait…
Not more but I would say it offers some additional options and integrations, because it’s api based. For example, on my server I connected it with ntfy.sh which executes the command to pull the update, for the apps’ docker container. (It’s working 90% of the time)
I used this for a while, aside from rss feeds: newreleases.io
Are you using a VPN to connect to your devices at home? I have a similar setup, when I’m away from home, I connect via Tailscale (a version Wireguard VPN) and keep all notes in sync.
In Joplin I use the WebDAV connection to store files on my server at home.
I’m not japanese but I want to travel there. We’ve discovered Takeshii from Japan on YouTube a while ago and I think he is doing a good job in capturing some opinions around different aspects of living in Japan. I’d say it’s worth checking.
Good title. I also looked at it and installed it, but still missing some important features. So I will keep an eye on it.
I think this is what you should look into. Are the services in Heimdall listed with the local IP or host names? Or are they referenced with the tailscale IP?
Three things I want to add here:
domain.tld/service
.service.domain.tld
is not supported by tailscale. (See github issue)I hope this helps.

My wife and I started to drink Oolong GABA green tea for a few years now as an afternoon habit. We both enjoy it. No caffeine, but γ-Aminobutyric acid which ought to be healthy. However, we drink it mostly to take a break and enjoy the taste. Compared to black teas this tea isn‘t strong in taste but rich in flavour regardless. For me personally it made my tasting sense become more sensitive and appreciative over small nuances in flavour.
