And we thought they were mad at the little mermaid…
sub’ed thanks, looks fun!
Beats getting hammered by spez!
we will all still be here when their hyperactivity wears off.
with the old Reddit simulator, personally I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. This place has a great user base and it feels so old-school.
I feel like a shill I’ve been pumping this so hard, as others have said, it feels like home.
Thank you for bringing it to more peoples attention so that we can make all of this stick around and take hold
Ya’ll remember when we did beans?!
Damn that takes me back to when Lemmy first hit. Newbs just don’t know.
Look no further for the cause of the obesity problem in America. It’s an everything. I bought what I thought were raw sausages and it was even in there.
we are going to hold the month open a few more days
I hated music without lyrics.
Now most of the music I prefer has no vocalist, or is extremely limited.
So cool, thanks!!
can you name a better way to ride in the multipassenger HOV lane when nobody else is going your direction?
save that shit, molts come in handy
mlmym.org mimics oldreddit. I was turned on to it this morning, please spread the word. It’s like going home. it pulls from whatever lemmy you’re using so you don’t have to worry about losing your stuff.
Compression is a bit of it. The other bit is commercials usually mix in stereo and negate the 5.1. By not using the subwoofer, it gives an extra 10dB of immediately available headroom, before any compression or limiting occurs. 10dB is… you guessed it, more than double the amount of perceived loudness.
The solid rectangle block is the result of using a limiter. Basically a hard ceiling compressor, for simplicity.
source: been there done that
this needs to be on T-shirts
and laughing all the way to the bank
have you tried turning it on and off again?
mlmym.org acts like oldreddit, someone linked it further down in the comments, and it’s changed my world.
Someone linked mlmym.org
which mimics oldreddit… I feel at home now.
I go back to check hometown sub once or twice a day. if I go to the front page, I only make it through about half before I realize what I’m doing and switch. Quite honestly, it feels poisonous. Whatever algorithm they have my brain has decided it can live without.
I’m using the same thing and love it. However I can never find the subscription button. Am I missing it somewhere obvious? I always have to switch back to subscribe
