3·14 days agoMinimum wage in Massachusetts is now 15.00, but honestly it should be like twice that
Just the other day I was noticing how you don’t see vhs or cassette tape ribbon just littering the ground anymore. It’s better this way

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Your task is to blow a job interview in the first 30 seconds. What do you do?
44·2 months agoI had one guy I interviewed tell me, unprompted, that all the women in the company would definitely feel comfortable around him.
Ok???
It was a fast no thank you. So I guess I’d do that.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is anyone just like... very terrified of losing your memories?
4·3 months agoI actually remember a lot about my childhood. When I was 4 my mother died and afterwards, for some reason, everyone thought it would be comforting to tell me I wouldn’t remember her in a few years anyway. I remember not understanding a world where I would ever forget my mother so I forced myself to remember my favorite memories. I’d go over them in my mind all the time. And one day when I was 12 or so I wrote them all down so even if I did forget I’d still know it happened. People are still surprised I remember so much from that time, 40 years later.
Judging by what I’ve seen of your opinions so far maybe they’re not wrong?
