Magic carpets are generally safe. It’s hard to fall and get hurt unless you’re stupid.

If it’s you doing the #levitation magic, it helps to focus on an object underneath you, like a carpet, a broom or whatever. Balancing on it is sitting on a pool floatie. If you got yourself up in the air and lose the carpet somehow, you probably have enough flying skill to land safely without one. Now, if you fly 2-3 km up and lose consciousness from lack of oxygen, you’re cooked, but that’s your own fault.

If you aren’t magical and the carpet itself doing all the work, then the carpet is your mount, like a horse. Well-trained mounts can feel the rider’s weight shift around and try to keep you seated. Just don’t make the carpet angry, or it might buck you off.

The PC Gamer article’s title also says “upgrade or”. That’s a heck of a detail to editorialize out of the title.

Yeah, I just checked, and it’s still the 5th largest stadium. In the Americas, it’s only surpassed by Michigan’s and Penn State’s stadiums. I knew about the exercise field in North Korea, but it looks like a cricket stadium in India recently took the #1 spot in the world.

Columbus, Ohio resident here. We’ve known Wexner likes little boys for several years now. When Epstein’s black book came out, and behind the page with Trump and others was a full page of Wexners, Lex being the single most mentioned person in the entire black book. He’s the reason Epstein got rich.

For the past few years, we watched the Ohio State University build a 26-story expansion to their hospital that dwarfs everything around for miles. See that stadium in the background? That’s Ohio Stadium, the 4th (edit: 5th) largest sports stadium in the world. And of course, last year, they put Wexner’s name right on top of the new tower in big white letters. What a slap in the face.

Retro game consoles have been doing this for a while. The Sega Dreamcast’s GD-ROM drive is prone to failure, so modders replace it with hardware that loads disk images. I haven’t heard of this for retro PCs before, but it makes sense.
