Unfortunately yeah. In fact 3 of the largest Lemmy instances are populated by almost entirely by these third party voters. Even this thread seems to be packed with third party voters trying to defend their support for fascism with the excuse “It’s not my fault I voted third party, I don’t understand American politics”

I love that your personality is “Don’t vote for a Democratic candidate or protest, it’s useless”, but people like you never bother to propose a realistic alternative. I’m sure you have a super secret solution that will totally work 😉

I often feel strong negative emotions and hear criticism and blame where there is none.

Therapy, meditation, and especially EMDR really helped me to help regulate how I responsed and processed my emotions.

It’s been a long journey for me, good luck with yours.

I love these posts. Americans couldn’t even be bothered to get off their asses and vote, but you expect them to coordinate a violent revolution against a goverent backed by the most powerful military the world has ever seen and a surveillance state with access to just about every movement and thought just about everyone has had for the last 10 years or so.

I haven’t been able to connect to any servers since I updated to the latest version of GrapheneOS this morning.

I’m not sure if it’s a Proton problem or a GrapheneOS problem.
