I have a Bambu A1, and yes it really is a great printer. The firmware BS is crossing a line though, and that company will not get another dollar from me. My next printer will be a Prusa or a Voron.

Not exactly user friendly, but it’s a starting point. At least two ways forward:
A browser plugin with a config page allowing you to select/deselect your favourite instances, and make a bang operator to suit: e.g. “!lemmy”
Petition search engines to do this themselves.

Thanks that’s good to know. I’ve got a Dyson V8 and I also have a fair sized collection of Bosch blue 18V stuff. But my point was really that DeWalt 20V and Bosch 18V (for example) is the same number of cells and same pack voltage at different points in the charge cycle. It’s just that one is marketed differently.
I believe 18V and 20V lithium batteries are two ways of talking about the same thing (5 lithium cells in series, making up the battery). One refers to the nominal voltage of the pack, and the other refers to the maximum voltage of the pack. I think certain manufacturers (DeWalt, and possibly others) started using the max voltage as a marketing tactic.
My go-to is folks, but 1000 others have mentioned that already. So I will throw in “people”.

Thanks - I’ll look those up. I am more than happy to pay for a small subscription or make a donation, this kind of service would definitely be worth it. I do have a server though, so it would also be ok to self-host. (But the more automatic it is, and less maintenance I have to do, the better… ) :)
Thanks Joplin came up on my radar a while back but I had never considered it for this task. With a webdav sync option built in, it might better handle the concurrent granular node/block changes that I hope for, than the file-at-once style of sync that syncthing currently gives me.

Thanks. I have actually been using logseq for journals and notes, and syncing has been great even with syncthing between my phone and my computers. I just notice enough lag on the sync that I don’t know whether it’ll be as “realtime multiplayer” as workflowy seems to be. With workflowy I can be ticking off completed items while someone else at home is adding things to another part of the list and it just works, which is annoying because as mentioned, I would really rather not use closed source stuff.

I’m curious, what do you prefer about findroid over standard jellyfin media player? They seem to be pretty much the same minus findroid not having transcode support
Findroid allows for seamless downloading of media for offline playing, which is pretty useful. Also it’s focus on only music makes it a bit simpler and more comfortable for me to use.
To me, privacy means not giving away that which I didn’t intend to give away - not hide in a hole and never say a word in public.
The message in this video is clearly meant for public consumption.
