Ah gotcha. Well I’m pretty sure there are studs on the right half of the wall (the left half has space for a pocket door). I think there are two but my stud finder is not very good and I’m not sure if they’re wood or metal studs.

Your last question is a good one. I have no idea - I’m pretty new to this stuff. What is normally used to keep a wall from flexing?
I think you’re right! I just checked and the pocket door is definitely much further behind.
Now the question is - how exactly do I use these to mount the shelf? Is there some sort of hidden bracket I can buy?
Thanks for the info! Since I’m making the shelf, I can put more mount points so that should be no problem.
However - the problem with the Molly bolt things will be that the left half of the wall has space for a pocket door behind it so I’m worried that the toggle/molly bolts will get in the way of the door.
Maybe I should throw away the floating shelves idea…
Yesterday! At a concert. A LOT
Isn’t it possible to provide an ad supported version without tracking?
Ahh, that’s terrible. Thanks for the info!
Gandi (gandi.net) is based in France. While I’m currently not using them, I have in the past and had a positive experience.
Depends, is an imaginary angle comparable to a 45 degree angle?
I think the idea is to show disapproval without actively damaging someone’s car, which could have been bought due to a variety of reasons. Also damaging the car only perpetuates waste, and since it’s already been purchased, does limited immediate financial damage to the company. The ‘fuck Elon’ sticker for example is a much better idea imho
This definitely fits the bill of ‘make the problem worse’
Love this! Any idea if it algorithms the posts based on time spent or some other metrics?
There is also sunset 🌅
There’s also a faster sense of done-ness with a phone call: the conversation is almost always over at the end of the call, whereas with something like text it can take ages because it’s so spread out.
passes through them
What does this mean vs uploaded?
I’d say that it’s almost completely different. With pour over you’re getting a longer drink, very different texture (in general a clean cup, varies a bit depending on pour over style) and with good quality light roasted coffee beans a ton of flavor and tasting notes.
you need the pressure to “crack”
I’ve never heard this (which doesn’t mean much) - my understanding is that pressure is simply another form of extraction.
What time was that? (genuinely curious)
Yes that’s a good example too! (I don’t know of any language where that’s a possibility but I agree it’s similar)
The spaces are used for a reason
That’s the thing though - my hypothesis is that it’s based on what one is familiar with. There are languages/scripts where spaces don’t indicate word boundaries (e.g. Chinese), or that are rather agglutinative (e.g. Finnish), or somewhere in between (like German), or on the opposite end of the spectrum you have Hindi/Devanagari where a space and an overline marks a word. Totally understandable that it feels perhaps rot13-ish due to unfamiliarity but I would be surprised if native users of those languages share that sentiment.
