Was just using that as an example. It would be great to see a Linux device with this capability. I have played around with a few Linux phones and convergence was a feature that received attention so I think there’s hope.

Agree. Sometimes I want a tablet, sometimes a laptop but I don’t need or want 2 separate devices of that size. I recall quite a few Android projects (Mirabook, Project Linda) that would use a phone with a laptop dock but I’d prefer a phone as a standalone device and a secondary, larger & more powerful, device that can have multiple forms.
It’s not a sequence of bytes, it’s a sequence of bits
Eh, no one will spend the time to zoom in that much, you’re safe.
This looks amazing. I’ve been looking for restaurants that have these but am coming up short. Some places have pictures of them but nothing on current menus. Hoping I find somewhere. (US, Seattle area)
What in Sam hell is a puma?
That makes sense, I just hadn’t seen a single post. In a comment above it was stated that posts criticizing the bot are removed, which is possibly why I haven’t seen any.
That’s really sketchy. Thanks for sharing.
My problem with the downvotes and the criticisms is that they don’t provide any proof or comparison, they simply say that it’s biased and wrong.
At the very least you should be linking examples and comparing against other bias checking sites.
For instance, I immediately disliked biasly.com because the rating system is -100 (Liberal) to 100 (Conservative). I’ve only compared a single site so far but the rating system alone makes me inclined to believe that the site is biased towards conservative views.
Thank you for actually providing an example. I’ve asked and I’ve seen others ask but no one ever actually provides evidence to back their claim, they just downvote or say “bot bad”.
I’d like to know who needs a daily reminder.
x*1.8+32 = how you convert to °Freedom. We know how, we just don’t acknowledge your °Communist temperature measurement.
I grew up in Wisconsin. Midwest winters are a primary reason I moved to the West Coast. Even in Washington it doesn’t get that cold. I wear shorts and flip flops almost all year. Below 40 I start wearing shoes and pants.
I’m away from my PC so I can’t name it but there’s another plugin similar to Tree Style Tabs. The creator claims that TST takes up a lot of resources. I do notice Firefox taking a lot of CPU/mem but that’s probably my fault. I’ve tried both and either works well.
Fewer years than I’ve been using windows. 20 years of Linux, 25 years of Windows. I personally think the stigma that Linux has is due to the past. I would agree that it was difficult at points in the past.
I spend far more time dealing with issues in Windows than I do Manjaro. I only boot my windows partition when I absolutely have to
Same. I was fine supporting the effort but it isn’t a replacement.
Do you really need auto-reply if it’s only going to be 30 seconds?
I backed the Librem 5 and waited years. I was somewhat disappointed at the delivery but understood that Purism was sticking to specific requirements and advancement of full open source phones. I imagine there will be less of a gap in hardware as projects happen so hopefully there’s a Linux native device for 1k with decent specs soon.
