1·6 months agoMe too! I really want lots of little doohickeys and whatchamajigs, everything has a story even the mundane stuff :)

8·6 months agoSurprisingly little. I’ve found that since the mat’s surface area and air gaps help things dry faster, you get less of that slimy soap runoff that you find in, say, a soap dish.
As for the other stuff, again it seems that the faster drying helps mitigate a lot of the grim compared to just sitting on the windowsill where water would accumulate around the bases via surface tension and dry slower. My main concern in getting one of these mats was the bottoms of the bottles getting mouldy or gross and needing to be cleaned.
I assume it will get grubby, we’ve not had this one long, but they’re food safe rubber/silicone by design so easily washed by hand.

2·7 months agoYeah that’s also a good idea. I wasnt sure if there were standard sizes that people fit these things to which made me think bespoke!

2·7 months agoThat’s what im thinking too. Lighter plastic would make it wasier to fit the frame. I’ll see what sorta rivets you can get (or maybe buttons) since my SO knows a lot of seamstressing stuff
