Yup, a childhood friend of mine gave me the first Harry Potter book for my birthday, and my christian parents threw it away after they left because “it promotes witchcraft”. Then I grew up and realized I was trans, and hate Harry Potter for an entirely different reason.

Literally so hard this. I was raised by christians and they were disappointed when I turned out to not be a christian adult. I tried so hard to point out the hypocrisy of them teaching me to always treat others with respect and to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” but being hardcore right-wingers and trump supporters, being racists af and hating trans and queer people. They still don’t seem to get it.

Hunie Pop is a great game, despite being a Bejeweled clone. The mechanics make the “puzzles” a lot more fun (not just the tiddies)

15 years ago I called it S-Q-L and then I was told that it’s wrong and it’s “Sequel”, and they kept calling it Sequel in college so for the past 10 years I’ve called it Sequel, My-Sequel, Sequel-lite, Postgres, transact-sequel, etc. Now y’all are telling me it’s not Sequel

Which is very sad because MapleStory was such a great game, at one time. I still play it (private servers) often, 20 years later. The game had such creative passion in it before Nexon took over and monetized the shit out of it.

I have a standard issue cat that has a bit of orange in her. She is super chill and affectionate, loves being held and is quite vocal when she wants something (uppies or treats). Although she doesn’t really exhibit any other traits of being an orange cat.
