Interesting numbers for people who dont wanna read :

• on all the new contributors they taught, only ~5% were flagged by the AI detection tool.
• on the AI flagged articles, only 7% presented sources that didn’t even exist. Most of the AI outputed correct statements with existing sources.
• however, north of 66% of AI articles failed verification : the citations or facts could not be found in the sources provided by AI

It was a quite debated matter amongside law specialists, if i remember my time learning it. Like there was an obligation of community in the text, translated as an obligation of sexuality in jurisprudence since more than a century, but some recent interpretation of it were far more tolerant. I remember one case where judges ruled that a lesbian woman married to an asexual man for the apparences, and both living their sexual lives separately was still proper marriage because they cared for each other. Still was kind of an exception though, i’m happy to see it change officially at last.

My experience with ZorinOS has been quite smooth. Though i have opened the terminal for advanced customization and problems with my hardware (nvidia gpu and weird disks configuration), i think there’s good chances you don’t need it. Although im not very tech savy and i’ve heard people say that it’s not a very good option because they’re based on stable but quite old versions of Linux, so i’m just putting the option out here, not saying it’s the best

It seems to be a real anthropology concept, and it kinda makes sense for my experience as french, i guess you could be in a relationship without saying “we are bf/gf”, though it seems odd to not talk about your feelings if the relationship goes on for multiple dates.
I don’t know what i think about this concept, partly because one justification is “countries with a very diverse population are more low context” and france is a mix of a lot of cultures, but i guess it’s true in some ways.

D’un côté en soit c’est juste passer l’âge minimum de 13 à 15 ans si je me trompe pas. Et on sait combien celui de 13 était efficace…

Par contre si comme dit dans l’article ils rajoutent des moyens “efficaces” pour s’assurer de l’âge des utilisateur-ices, ça change la donne, et surtout ça fait chier pour les réseaux alternatifs. Je suis pas sûr que y’ait beaucoup de mineurs sur le Fediverse mais j’imagine que ça risque d’être obligatoire ici aussi, et probablement compliqué à mettre en place.

Et puis je me demande toujours quel est l’intérêt du gouvernement derrière tout ça. Jouer les chevaliers blancs derrière la panique morale ? Créer un débat nul pour divertir du reste ?

Yup, as others pointed out, not exclusive to electric cars. I was just pointing out the gap between the headline saying “Chinese EVs bad” and the article saying “All EVs bad”, but people are right to point out that it’s “All connected vehicles bad”.

The important bit is “electric cars fundamentally pose a spying risk, not only Chinese ones.”

Cut it on the side, you can effectively have a nice sandwich. Cut it in tiny slices and you can make nice tiny toast. You’re more hungry ? Cut a big portion, slice one side, and you got a tiny sandwich. Slice both sides, and now you have two big toasts, that are a bit elongated so you can dip them into your coffee/chocolate if you’d like ! It fits so many cases !
