  • I love the PS3 so much. So many memorable moments when I jailbroke it and had all those funny coldboot intros. I feel so spoiled growing up on consoles that could easily be jailbroken or modded. I have a PS5 now after ditching consoles after the PS3, and lemme tell you, there was so much enshitification that surprised me. You really can’t do half the things you used to be able to do on older consoles. Did you know Sony won’t even allow you to backup your game saves to a USB stick anymore? They even removed the web browser! I remember that being one of the cool little features the PS3 boasted back in the day.

I haven’t used my PS5 for about 6 months now and it’s just collecting dust. I disconnected it from the Internet and I am refusing to update it in hopes that one day I’ll be able to jailbreak it. I wish consumers were allowed to simply do what they wanted with the device they paid for. At least meet us in the middle and maybe disable access to PSN if we decide to jailbreak it or something!

  • I could maybe give them benefit of doubt if they were sleep deprived or stoned and made the mistake for a second before fixing it, but to type out an entire bad review and take pictures of it all? That’s a lot of chances for them to notice the mistake before posting lol

  • Thank you for the mirror! Don’t worry, It’s not your fault or anything. I actually used Catbox myself when posting videos and I only recently (the past week or so) had trouble with the entire Catbox site not connecting until I turn off my VPN. I just figured I’d mention it as many users on Lemmy likely use a VPN of some sort and might not see it.

Btw, that anonmp4 link worked fine for me, thanks again. I might have to start using that site instead.

  • Same here. I want to ditch Windows 11 so badly, but I tried Linux Mint and I lost half my frame rate in games. I guess if you use a Nvidia GPU on Linux then you’re shit outta luck sadly, as I heard the reason is poor driver support. If I did something wrong I’ll gladly try Linux again but I don’t have high hopes it will work now :(
