This is it for me. There are a lot of things that aren’t awesome about owning and maintaining a house, but not dealing with a smug, PITA landlord every month is absolutely worth it to me.

I confidently confused a CRM with CMS, and then spent the next four months on my new job frantically working to understand how a CRM works. Lol I figured it out, mainly because nobody before me had taken the time to do so.
“no” is a complete sentence btw.
Got married. 0/10 would not recommend.
I largely have as well, but I fucking hate that forced ignorance is my only path to mental and emotional regulation.
While this is not incorrect, it needs to be stated for the record that Dave Ramsey is a fucking tool.
Given the current state of sequels, prequels and reboots, this makes sense.
My S21 is on the verge of losing regular security updates, and I hate it. The battery is fine, the camera is more than adequate, I do not want to upgrade.
Well hey I’m not in a union and I’ll insult you too, fish lips.
An absolute classic.
You’re looking for 4chan. Enjoy, you should fit in there.
AI = Actually Indians
Fark is still around too.
A lot of it has to do with the type of folks who were in the initial Lemmy wave; generally a crowd that is more familiar with linux distros than the tuck rule. Not necessarily a bad thing, just a comment on the interests of the type of folks who were more apt to leave Reddit for another platform. Mainstream sports attract a mainstream audience, whom (on the whole) are more likely to stick to a mainstream website. Lemmy will grow but it took years before some of those communities grew to the size they are on Reddit, and it happened then without a comparable mainstream competitor.
I understand your argument. But the entire premise is grounded in the assumption of courts upholding precedent and not letting an executive operate outside the confines of the law. The president has immunity. Congress is ineffectual at best and actively evil at worst. I mean for fucks sake, the current occupant of the White House lead an attempted coup and is still being permitted to sign, enact and decree legislation. If the checks and balances in our system were functioning, I’d be willing to get in line with you. But it’s so painfully clear that they are not.
What about the last eight years has made you think these people will follow the rule of law?
Switched to these after years of boxers and a stint with regular briefs. Duluth is my brand of choice but regardless the separation/support is a complete game changer.
