Foreshadowing
My go to site which has most of what I’m looking for is still up. So much for that lmao.
Stellaris, Rimworld, the Sims, and a lot of stragedy games.
What are the terms that say that? I just want to be sure because every few years I see uproar over misinterpretations of some social site’s terms of service saying “we have the right to modify and redistribute your work”, when all it means is that they can host and make slight modifications to the files you post.
Scaphism, but specifically for corrupt politicians.
There’s sheezy.art and inkblot.art which are the ones I use, and Cara.app which I’m not familiar with but seems more professional (like artstation) than the former two. None of these are FOSS though.
Maybe not outright illegal, but I think it should be heavily regulated. I’ve heard way too many stories of kids being raised in isolation and barely being taught even basic math under the guise of homeschooling.
The thing with a lot of the methods mentioned is that I’ve seen both teens that are more mature than me, and people in their thirties that should probably have their internet privileges revoked.
EVE always fascinated me, but at the same time how beginner unfriendly I’ve heard it is + feeling like I’ll probably not last long before I get killed off makes me wary of trying it.
If Outer Wilds counts as AA, then I’ll nominate that next (even if I still need to finish it)
Is there anything with Japanese? It’s the language I’ve been learning (I took a class and have been wanting to study it further), but not all language learning apps have it.
Similar reactions produced by particle accelerators are constantly happening all around us, and isn’t just limited to extreme conditions like around black holes. This is just the same thing but at a much smaller and more controlled scale, and last I checked the sun hasn’t produced any world ending black holes despite the far more extreme reactions constantly happening within it. A man even survived a high energy proton beam from one of those accelerators passing through his brain and was able to continue his career in quantum physics, so at that point I doubt they’re capable of anything world ending.
I think it’s just everywhere now. I see it on Tumblr too.
I had a teacher who told the class that atheists are stupid if that counts.
Unfortunately, even our most advanced ones are more limited than a lot of people think and have a high rejection rate of around 44% that’s never talked about. Some do genuinely like them, but many say they still prefer the relatively simple body powered prosthetics, or none at all.
This could change as advancements are made, but as of now they’re a bit of a scam.
-Discovering extraterrestrial life
-Phasing out of disposable plastics and gasoline vehicles
-Transferring to clean energy and clean industrial processes whenever applicable
-More widespread ethical and sustainable farming practices
-Lab grown organs and/or more efficient artificial body parts
-Improved healthcare system/healthcare research
-Better treatments and potentially cures for chronic and/or rare diseases
-Much longer lifespans I just think we don’t live long enough even with the current best case scenerios lol
Though some of this would be viable now, if it weren’t for capitalism/politics holding it back so might not entirely count
People say they want memes like we used to have back, only to flip out when a late 2000s/early 2010s style gmod thing blows up.
Howl’s Moving Castle. Not that I didn’t enjoy the book, I just preferred the movie more.
No Man’s Sky - One of the most beautiful games out there imo, and has vastly improved since its disasterous launch. Warning this one does require an internet connection (actually for a good reason) but you dont have to interact with anyone, and it’s difficult to even encounter another player in the wild outside of the Anomaly hub and campaigns due to its sheer size.
Project Zomboid - Even if you have zero interest in zombie stuff it’s still worth a shot. Has a massive detailed world based off Midwestern towns in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. It’s still in development so there’s some noticeably unfinished aspects, and they’ve only just begun to add non-zombie NPCs.
