I think most people understand it, but even referring to it as a type of “porn” normalizes it to some extent.
The politically correct term CSAM is to differentiate it from ordinary porn which is legal and at least somewhat socially acceptable and ensure that people understand that when children are involved, it is always abusive. The terms mean the same thing, but being precise with language is important.
Porn is a legal thing that normal people enjoy. The term CSAM takes a stance that it is always abuse. I think they are basically interchangeable but CSAM is the currently preferred term.
What would you say is the difference? I feel like the terms are interchangeable. The comment you replied to didn’t give the exact abbreviation but it gave the essence of what is meant by the picture.

It’s not easy for people to escape a submerged vehicle in still body of water, especially if the vehicle flips. Add in a raging river tumbling everything around, pushing everywhere… Even if you were able to escape the vehicle I don’t think your chances of making it to shore from the middle would be good.
It seems likely. That vehicle was just swallowed by a flooding river. It’s technically possible the occupants escaped, but unlikely.
If all I knew about java was some of the garbage projects I’ve inherited over the years I might hate it too.
I feel so bad for those poor kitties! Extra weight is not good for them or their joints. It’s obviously not the worst kind of abuse, but it is negligent and harmful. Still cute but sad.
For me the reason I like to use streaming services is as a way to find new music that I otherwise would never be exposed to.
