I don’t really get all the pessimism. Even if folks are right in saying there’ll be a bait and switch, this is people moving to a new platform en masse. If Bluesky goes to shit there’s more reason to believe users would just move again.

In the meantime, as members of the fediverse, we should be using Bluesky being “decentralized” as a way to ease people into actually decentralized platforms.

If I’m understanding correctly, I think “ERB” here is referring to “Epic Rap Battles” which would make the “starter” the first one to rap in the relevant video.

I’m still having a great time with it, but I’m a bit werided out that it looks worse on my Xbox than Rise did on my Switch. Some scenes look like they came straight from the Xbox 360/PS3.

I’m happy for those people who have enough privilege to sit this election out; but to even try and imply that the two dominant parties are even similar is an insult when only one of them wants to fucking kill me.

Even if a notable number of people voted 3rd party, they’re still going to be treated the same as those who didn’t vote at all, because in a practical sense, thats what they are.
