Sounding off. 15 years. Deleted that thing. Haven’t looked back besides checking an occasional subreddit that decided to stay there.
Yes. After 15 years of reddit I was done with it. Deleted my account. I’m tired of being a product. I miss my subs but oh well.
I do worry about bots and stuff with Lemmy though.
I looked into this too and it’s pretty resource heavy. I actually had a really good conversation with Chatgpt about making a separate instance of itself locallly. It’s worth talking to it about that and some of the price options
I pay for LastPass and would never go back. I know there are other options that people will point out but I’m too invested now haha.
I highly recommend getting LastPass or something similar. It was much easier to make the transition away from google products
