There actually is an “official” remake also published by Interplay but it’s unfortunately not very good and I really can’t recommend it at its current price: https://store.steampowered.com/app/200150/Battle_Chess_Game_of_Kings

Thanks for that replacement mini crossword recommendation, I’ve only done today’s but I really like it already!
Just to add to this, I also like to use the “donate for a friend” option to gift friends a donation to Signal on their birthdays. It’s also $5 but a one-off thing, they get a neat badge for 60 days and perhaps it raises awareness of the donation option a little bit!
Thanks a lot for sharing this! Decky plugins often break after a Steam OS update, which is understandable, but a bootloop is more trouble than I’m looking for right now…
Could you accept a world where someone does it intentionally as a joke?
It seems that Spotify doesn’t accurately count plays for tracks under 30 seconds. I had a look through some of the albums I know of with short tracks and here’s what I found:
In fact I found the MGMT album 11•11•11 has a 26 second long track with no reported plays.
So while it’s probably true that people are listening to fewer full albums than they used to in the days of vinyl or CD, it seems more likely to do with Spotify only paying royalties on tracks over 30 seconds and the discussion surrounding that.
Am I blind or are none of these actually offered by Proton themselves?
I’m glad this is being brought up. As the article mentions, one of the affected games was the Ghost Trick remaster which received a 5.6GB update with no explanation. It was only through data mining that people realised Denuvo was removed in favour of Enigma.
The worst part for me is that Enigma lives up to its name and people have been left guessing about where it’s coming from. Some people think it’s Capcom’s in-house DRM while others are linking it to some Russian company with the same name that Capcom may have partnered with.
As I understand, this DRM has already been cracked so it’s not even stopping people who want to pirate the game. On the other hand, I love Ghost Trick and I wanted to buy gift copies for some friends over Christmas but this move really put me off.
Yeah I’m not sure if they’re in a different region or something but Slay the Spire is also definitely not < $2 for me - I wish it was!
I think we’re looking at the same video then, the one with less than 10,000 views after 24 hours. Yeah that video isn’t a real trailer, it’s just using recycled clips from the first film and guessing what might happen in the second one
I have no idea what the context for the photo is but I assumed they wanted their printed paper signed
You’re right about the sequel being announced but do you have a link to the trailer? The only videos and articles I can find still seem to be speculative.
I believe that’s the fediverse logo in the middle!
These summaries are usually decent from what I’ve seen but this one misses out some important information. The fourth and fifth paragraphs of the summary make no sense without the context that the athlete was disqualified for a false start and then still allowed to run.
The largest questionable stain (gh4, gh5) is actually revealed to be The Ooze from the 1995 Sega Megadrive / Genesis game of the same name
Mlem on iOS seems to have that feature under Settings > Filters at least!
Yep that’s the original!
