Bullies will get their way until someone stands up to them. It’s always been this way. All these politicians thinking there’s nuance to these situations forget that they’re dealing with a guy who doesn’t understand, or see any need for, nuance. He’s a bully doing whatever fancies himself. He’ll keep doing it until leaders start standing up to him. You can’t negotiate with bullies. Everything is a zero-sum-game to them. The only way you can “be clever” is to fool him into thinking he’s “won” something.

While I hate the automatic inclusion of betting into most sports reporting today, it doesn’t trouble me anywhere near as much as the political scenarios the article lays out. Some pretty scary stuff in there!

Note that I said “enough” voters. This is how much enough Americans don’t trust women in leadership roles. They’ll make all sorts of excuses to explain it away, but at the heart, they just don’t like women.
