well, no shit. you’re not eating enough on those.
Kind of. Scaling back your calorie intake while getting enough macro/micronutrients is a tricky balance, but doable (if you’re going from a very high weight to something in a middle body mass range).
absolutely! the problem with GLP-1 inhibitors is that, you commonly lose enough of an appetite that most folks who don’t have good eating habits, find themselves nutrionally deficient. it’s a large problem in america with the dearth of fast food restaurants
edit: my original point was more that the average Joe isn’t eating enough nutrients. although, there are common enough side effects that physically prevent eating enough.
The problem with any quick and easy weight loss method is that it doesn’t fix the problem that got you there in the first place, unless you actually have a medical reason like hormone issues.
If you got fat by eating like shit, weight loss meds aren’t going to stop you from eating like shit. Even keto won’t fix this because it’s totally possible to eat like shit and be low carb.
another hard agree. also, sedentary lifestyles contribute a shocking amount to weight gain. if you average walking 10km a day, which is very doable, you will lose weight/maintain easy. it’s what I do. i do eat well, most times, but I also enjoy treats, and junk. it’s not super hard, just takes effort.
