No? Communism is a movement towards abolishing class society, via collectivizing production and distribution. Fascism is a violent reaction to capitalist decay, employed to retain bourgeois property ownership and break up labor organizing. They are diametric opposites, which is why they have historically bitterly hated each other.

That must be why the poem starts with “First, they came for the Communists”, and why the nazis accused every Jewish person of being a secret communist. When the US internationalized fascism during the Cold War with Operation Paperclip at the same time it was committing mass slaughter in communist countries, that was because it flipped a coin between two identical things. When capitalists tried to overthrow the US government and replace it with an openly fascist one in the 1933 Business Plot, they picked fascism at random. That’s why every time fascists have risen to power, communists have been the first to fight them.

The west doesn’t at all do the same thing, it completely eradicates massive swaths of people via massive genocidal campaigns, enslaves survivors, and uses this as fuel to colonize the global south. The soviets focusing on industrial development and therefore improving the quality of life, life expectancies, and more of the various peoples in the soviet union while preserving their ethnic identities and cultures is astronomically different.
