Insane. And just yesterday I heard about a man getting sick, and doctors tried to find a cause. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT SHIT??
Loureiro, who was married, joined MIT in 2016 and was named last year to lead MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center, where he worked to advance clean energy technology and other research. The center, one of the school’s largest labs, had more than 250 people working across seven buildings when he took the helm. He was a professor of physics and nuclear science and engineering.
Hadn’t heard about this, but that’s really sad. Also, always weird vibes when high profilish scientists are murdered. It can easily be just an unfortunate case of wrong place and wrong time, but its a strange coincidence.
Hard not to think of the cold fusion scientist who was really just in the wrong place at the wrong time apparently. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_Mallove
You’re not going to believe this but Trump just got into the nuclear fusion business.
Mallove was a bullshit artist.
Brookline, where he lived and was shot, is very safe relative to the surrounding city and the state as a whole, which are already the safest in the country. It is definitely a really strange shooting (albeit, but necessarily some crazy conspiracy–but I can’t imagine this isn’t targeted).
I have a hard time believing it was “wrong place, wrong time” when they broke into his house to murder him.
Hadn’t heard about this
With about two daily mass shootings in the US, a single kill of a relatively low-profile person does not get any media attention.
Sadly true, but considering this man might have had some very valuable testimony to provide regarding a recent Congressional hearing, this one really, really, really deserves much closer attention.
Just when donald trumps “truth” platform is merging with a nuclear fusion company?
What a terrible article title. Implies that there are cases when a shooting doesn’t have the police searching for a suspect.
Well, there’s searching and “searching”.
If you were to shot me on the street, I don’t think the police would use as many resources than they spent for the wrongful incarceration of Luigi
