First ask for consent
If it’s not etched into the glass, you can try oven cleaner, it aggressively dissolves printed labels.
Any degreaser, acetone should also work.
If it is etched, just etch over it.
Etch-a-sketch
0000 steel wool. Soap water. Unless it’s etched then it’s forever
Sandpaper? Could even use a really fine grit and polish it.
TNT works best.
Dremel with polishing compound.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned a brass wire wheel attachment on a Dremel. Abrasive enough to get the print off but not so abrasive that it scratches glass. I’ve done it myself and it works great. Tons of YouTube videos on it.
