A studio apartment sucks. Trying to shove another person in there is a nightmare, and getting a slightly bigger apartment balloons your rent in a cartoonishly exaggerated manner.
Most roommate situations are 2 or 3 people. So that’s either half or a third of the cost. I’d call that “easily” yes.
