EDIT: so I was able to get it to work with the “unnamed launcher”, but now I’m wondering if I should log in using my current credentials or just create a new account for this game with a new email just in case they ban me?
Like the title says. I’ve been playing Genshin no problem through Heroic, but HSR just doesn’t launch. Tried it with steam by adding a non-steam game and changing some settings. Tried through heroic. Best so far is the music of the game, but just a black screen then crashes on Lutris through honkers launcher. Are there any arguments/launch options I’ll need to add to steam or Lutris? I really want to play this game. Thank you.
Checkout anime game launcher’s Discord. The laucnher was primarily made for the anime Zelda game (can’t say the name) but their Discord has Honkers channels too, so probably they have done some way for Honkers linux gaming too I guess.
Be warned tho, when Honkers first started they banned a lot of linux players who used the anime game launcher (anime Zelda never banned anyone). I don’t know if Honkers changed their stance on Linux users, haven’t checked it.

Thank you. That sucks. I don’t know what makes us so bad that they have to ban us. I don’t understand why the same company is ok with us playing genshin, but not HSR. I’ll look into discord and see.
I think the anime Zelda and Honkers games have different teams. Maybe Honkers idea can be more “forgivable” that they just launched and we got grouped into the hackers temporarily, but also anime Zelda had it’s Linux launcher up from like 1.2 if I’m right and we got zero ban issues,
What is anime Zelda? Is this like a code for another game or something?
It’s Genshin, but the anime game launcher team begs for the users to not refer to their repo directly with (it’s FOSS) link. I just assume I shouldn’t use the official names of the games either, but that’s maybe carrying too far.
Genshin has been running flawlessly through heroic. My issue is with honkai star rail. Just never runs no matter what I tried. I’ve found the “unnamed launcher” lol, but it still doesn’t work.
What’s the issue? Do you have an error? There’s a high chance that someone have already gotten your error and asked about it in the Discord. If I’m right there should be a separate channel with troubleshooting.

Search for the honkers railway launcher. It’s on GitHub. They specifically ask on the readme to not share links as that would increase their discoverability.
I’ve already tried it. Went through the whole set up and it just didn’t work :/ I wonder if it’s my specs. I have an all AMD setup.
