6·3 months agoI use a keypad lock that has z-wave in it and tie it back to home assistant. I access home assistant through my wireguard vpn and lock or unlock as i please.

48·6 months agoThey charged me for a broken windshield, which I paid and then wouldn’t provide me a receipt for my insurance company. Then to top it off, they turned me into a collections agency because they said I didn’t pay for the windshield. I will never rent from them again.

4·7 months agoVLC is such an incredible tool, I use it just about everyday to do everything from just watching a video to recording streams . Don’t forget to donate in some way to your favorite apps. I know the VLC group could use some help to keep them going.
The power edge server is going to draw way more power just because it has a “powerful” cpu(s) and other power running components. The Qnap will be much quieter and consume maybe a few watts less power than your existing setup, potentially. I wouldn’t use it though because your existing setup is way more flexible on what you can do with it.
I use ConnectionManager as a cute part of my “work flow”. Sadly this hasn’t been maintained very well by the original maintainer, but others have picked up the project and are keeping it patched to keep running. https://github.com/sciancio/connectionmanager2

I’m not using Proton Pass, but why is the username field called e-mail instead of just username? Not all services use your email address as your username.
