32·8 days agoMy grocery store has had these for a while. Dynamic price reductions are coming too. Instead of a set % off, it’ll calculate the most optimal percentage to take off based on popularity of the product, how long until expiry, etc. Just a heads up.

1·14 days agoFair enough. If you do ever give it a shot though, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

6·14 days agoI’m currently watching Handmaid’s Tale for the first time (the show, not the movie. I haven’t seen the movie). I’ve never read the book either so no spoilers please. Anyway, it’s eerie how many things are lining up. Like you said, supposed to be a warning, not a guidebook.

2·14 days agoSeeing all the awards it’s won, I’m honestly surprised it isn’t more popular. I don’t know what their sales numbers are obviously, but no one I’ve mentioned it to has ever heard of it before. I first discovered it at a restaurant that specializes in beer varieties, the server said it doesn’t get picked much but it’s one of, if not the best beer on the menu. I looked it up a bit more after trying it and really liking it, and saw it had a ton of awards and there was a beer magazine that called it the best in the world, so I thought I’d look for it figuring it would be popular, but apparently not. Maybe it’s big in Belgium, I’m not sure, but it’s definitely hard to find where I live.

2·14 days agoI haven’t played this game, but to answer your other question,
And what is your favourite beer?
I’d have to go with Delirium Tremens. It’s a bit hard to find in Canada and a bit more expensive than regular beer but it’s definitely worth it.

Ah, good to know, thanks. Not sure I’ll ever need the info but I’m always curious on what’s popular, even if it’s not something I’m interested in. I know of both artists but don’t know much music from either and don’t care to. But it’s cool to see what’s seen as better or worse by the general fanbase.
Which is supposed to be the better album?
I don’t listen to either artist and don’t care for either of them from what I’ve heard on the radio and at malls so I’m not the best person to judge. I’m curious what your thoughts are though (and what the general consensus is).

6·15 days agoI’ve been mostly emulating Pokemon games this past week. It’s hard to find time to play anything right now so being able to pull out my phone or go to my computer, play for a bit, then set it down and not worry about it has been very useful.

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•What headsets are linux gamers using?English
2·16 days agoAre there any companies that are especially friendly towards Linux? I’m not looking to buy anytime soon but I’d be curious to know.
Thanks for the detailed write-up! I appreciate you taking the time to do that.
Physical Education was fun. I’ll definitely check them out a bit more.
I also checked out Mestís, too, as your description sounded really interesting. Gentle Giant didn’t do much for me but I really enjoyed Media Noche. I’ll be exploring this some more, too.
Got any specific song recommendations? Specifically to do with his guitar playing?
Dark Souls would do something similar with names in PvP. For the most part it wasn’t a huge deal but being a medieval fantasy game, a lot of players you’d face would be called “___ K***ht”.

Reminds me of my void.

They’re in floaties in the water. The last panel shows that the water they’re in, is in fact politics. The word politics is labelling the water that they’re in.

I see what you did there.

Joke’s on you, I have the opposite problem where I don’t have enough anxiety which leads to me never properly preparing for anything because “I’ll deal with it when I get to it”. So I’m always present and in the moment without preparing for the future 😎
