Factorio devs are goated for their no-bullshit, high-quality product. I make damn sure I have a recent copy secured on my server, just in case. Inspirational humans like this keep me from the doldrums.
It’s a vestige of our culture war, where the sanctimonious blame individuals for behaviors that were normal in the recent past, heralding a couple data points as supreme truth, while ignoring their own hypocrisies. In my opinion, if we are so overpopulated with cats and dogs, such that they cannot roam, people should not have cats or dogs. I’d argue that keeping a cat or dog locked up also makes one an asshole.
The road to extinction is pretty well set, so I don’t see the sense in casting ire upon understandable behaviors. Might as well try to get along on the descent, though I get why such a large subset of the population are salty. For the record, I don’t have a pet, because: overshoot.
4/5g card in mPCIE slot until I source a more portable device to do phone things. Yes, there are m.2 options as well. If the supply chain eventually dries up, for expansion cards and/or FOSS phones, then I’ll only communicate via my ISP or local mesh nets, until my computers break.
Off with your head!
Steam controller plus ‘sc-controller’ for linux. It supports other controllers too. There may be an android fork out there.
I also use it for most steam games, as I abhor steam input. I always launch steam with --nojoy.
To usenet! Let’s start a new world order.

Eternal September is a bitch.
There are some semantics at play, reflected in your link. Many atheists take the label to mean simply: absence of belief. That is: atheists require evidence before making a claim. As such, those that “believe” in nonexistence wind up falling into another category: anti-theists. There’s hubris involved in making the leap to belief, so I wager many just want to illuminate the distinction.
This is where I’m at. Got banned over on r/atheism for presenting a similar sentiment.
This is a very salty topic. It seems many are pining for their inheritances.
I agree with OP. I have zero material expectations of my parents. But, I do expect they return that grace and don’t use the past or possibility of inheritance to manipulate me. I’m very wary of codependence.
It’s great for trails in America. I’ve used it for years. Offline maps by default and you can easily drop a pin. FYI, in the android build, you drop a pin with a triple touch. It used to be long touch.
It’s insulting toward, what I believe to be, a plurality of the population. Luigi was a gift of a wake-up call. They’d do well to listen. Though, only government could really remedy the situation, and that’s not likely to happen. So we lurch forward toward instability. The powers at be seem more intent on transfixing the masses with fictions, distractions, and eventually: war.
This is true in my experience. People are extremely mimetic and validation driven. If someone respects you, they listen and imitate. It can actually be frustrating to me as an adult, because I don’t find the aphorism “imitation is the finest form of flattery” to be flattering in many cases. It can start to look manipulative or lazy when it’s middle-aged adults floundering for approval.
But your point stands: respect is an effective platform from which to share ideas. So many folks close off their minds, because they are lonely or otherwise insecure. If you can positively move either of those needles, they listen. From there, the only question is whether they truly internalize the idea, or whether they are chasing the feels of socialization.
Heh. Man, do such posts dominate reddit these days. They can be entertaining on occasion, but god damn are they absolute drivel.
Void. I like xbps, and I prefer distros that make as few assumptions as possible.
Doublespeak has always been their bread and butter, like “trickle down”. Add the mindrot of “faith”, and bang, you have the reigns. My birth family ate that Reagan-era shit up.
edit: heh, I didn’t notice your username until after
