Sounds like a good idea to have them fail when you really need them. Most people won’t use them occasionally in order to “clean them up” from rust etc.
I’ve got track and touch. Track is not yet truly usable for me because it’s got a feature that scrolls up and down if you spin it along z axis, which just happens too frequently during normal use. But software updates are coming pretty regularly and it’s going to be customizable. Touch on the other hand is usable, but tracking speed can’t be set yet.
I can’t judge that, haven’t seen any. I was told about it by a friend and have decided to back it. Received mine 2 weeks ago and I’m hooked.

Where I fly they also always advise to remain fastener regardless of no immediate warnigs. Exactly for situations like this - and others.
Sure, but not everbody does. Some people use one adapter and multiple devices.
You have to make sure to keep an adapter as well then. One more thing to get lost for some people.

Not sure what’s with the downvotes, but I’ve had the same problem for quite a while. Especially after sleep to be precise. It also tends to eat up the battery quite a bit.
I’ve been running it for years now. No issues.
And yet nobody ever will think about holding the color against them. Lights on or off.
I guess drivers with black cars, gray cars, … Should also be partially blamed for the accidents with other vehicles when “not guilty”, because they aren’t visible enough…
They’ve had this before, but you’ve had to change chips. Was also hacked. Except that it was a one-off payment now upgraded to subscription.
