Big 3 was Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece since they were all popular at the same time. Dragon Ball was before any of them and directly inspired at least the author of One Piece.

And also just maybe the people that don’t work 9-5. You realize that right? Or does everyone in your country stop working at 5pm?

2·6 months agoI’m gonna be honest, I’ve been a heavy smoker for close to 10 years, many times have I stopped for either a t-break, a drug test, or for just being broke. I have never once experienced anything like you said. Not saying you’re lying, but I’m gonna point out that your anecdote doesn’t apply to everyone.

24·6 months agoWhat an ignorant thing to say, he’s a fucked up person but he’s one of the most talented musicians of our age. He singlehandedly ended gangster raps reign over the rap genre by dropping an album where he sang about his feelings in autotune. Honestly I don’t know why im arguing with you, you’re probably just gonna turn around and use some shit excuse like “its mumble rap” or something.

37·10 months agoWhat was tiktoks agenda?
On Lemmy it’s not, this place is filled with pseudo-intellectuals with no critical thinking abilities at all. They literally have no idea what a ban like this means. The problem is I can’t tell I’d they’re shills or worse, they really think this is a good thing cuz “le short videos bad”. I’m starting to think that only the worst people from reddit came here.

You’re the same as anyone on Facebook or Twitter, you love you’re little echo chamber and nothing is wrong with it and the other ones are bad.

43·10 months agoOk, but this ban isn’t just for tiktok, you realize that right? If Trump wants to consider UK and adversary he could ban the BBC app as well? This wasn’t just a tiktok ban it’s a ban on ALL “foreign adversary” apps. Nobody gives a shit you never used it.

75·10 months agoTik tok had some amazing news sources. I’d say the Washington Post on there was pretty good, they actually reported on the bullshit going on at the paper as well. There was a lot of great sources on the app. I’ll say that tiktok is the only place you’ll see news on Palestine not from the pov of Israel.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Pirates of Lemmy, how many torrents are in your queue that are just stuck?
22·10 months agoLast October I pirated around 100 horror movies and only 2 of them took longer than a day.
Beyond the Black Rainbow (2010) - took a couple of days, it was stuck at 10% for a while and one day i wake up and the whole thing finished in like 6 hours. I’m guessing someone turned on a pc that had been off for a long time lol.
Cabin Fever (2002) - this one took over a week and I was deadset on not paying for it so I just let it sit, pretty much the same thing with the previous torrent, it was stuck at a low percentage for a long time and then one day I hop on my computer and it had fully finished.
Other than that, a lot of Japanese films or foreign films in general will take a long time if they’re not that popular. If I don’t care too much I’ll just delete it and forget about it.
Ummm, albums are about an hour long each.
