It’s not covered by NDA as far as I could tell, and that part was pretty clear, basically says “if the game is sold on other platforms, make sure the price is the same”. It’s one of the first things you sign when making a Steamworks account.

I would add, there are at least two other cases that necessitate Unity
the first is, unity is also used to make software, not just games. anything that has a 3d element can just be made in or with unity. I’m talking AR/VR stuff, builders, simulators, etc. I have a friend who made training software for welders in unity, for example.
the other one is vtubers. while not strictly necessary, the moment you want to model something a bit more complex you will likely have to deal with unity because the vrm format has become the standard (note: very over-simplified)
although they’re not necessarily game cases, they’re related enough that I wanted to bring them up
this is more prevalent in furry circles but not limited to there. when someone makes an original design for a species, they can decide whether to make it an open or closed species.
a closed species means that the creator forbids other people from creating characters from that species (though sometimes compliance rules are made instead). as you can guess, this is mostly unenforceable; some people respect those wishes, others don’t. some will shun the latter, some others won’t care.
btw I made it sound simple, but by god, the people of both sides often have very strong opinions about it

huh. I had never noticed until you pointed it out and I looked for it. I wonder if it’s a performance thing, because it’s barely noticeable on my phone.

I’ve been working on a solitaire roguelike!

The open alpha actually started last month, and right now I’m working my way through the many bug reports.

Oh, just like Steam, then. Good, good.
I wonder how it enforced though.

That’s a nope for me. Even with the recent changes, what they offer is less attractive than the competition, especially since their previous move gutted their one true edge, the asset store.

I’ve had it happens but it usually sorts itself out eventually

Can confirm, I have the same issue.
Judging by the scrollbar, I imagine it’s because of the way Boost hides what is not on screen.

Huh, I’ve tried to replicate this but my phone couldn’t even load the Feed widget.

Worked just fine with the Post widget though.

I can’t find it back, but I remember seeing a meme comic about bad posture exactly like this.
Kinda looked like this:

(best I can do on this phone)

Regarding doing it in the app, it worked just fine for me. No idea if the instance matters for this though.

If it isn’t a typo in your post, then you’re looking for lemm.ee, with 2 m

Oh, I see what you mean now. As far as I know then no, I don’t think there is any way to join a community straight from the feed.
I guess the closest equivalent would be from the explore list when searching communities:

But I don’t think that’s much more helpful to your use case.

Is there a why to subscribe to a community without having to visit it? You can block a community from the ellipses but I cannot find a subscribe.
If you swipe left when visiting a community, you should see the Join button

Works just fine for me. Cool games over there, seems like a nice place
I had the same issue. So far, the only solution I found was to create a separate account on each instance I want to follow.

It’s not ideal, but it works.
… fignificant other?
