Nick just opened a whole studio devoted to making more series in the universe so maybe a good time to check them out. The first series is perfection and Korra has some amazing highs (and lows that aren’t really the series’ fault but the exec’s fault)

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Is there anything actually useful or novel about "AI"?
51·2 years agoThis. ChatGPT strength is super specific answers of things or broad strokes. I use it for programming and I always use it for “how can I do XYZ” or “write me a function using X library to do Y with Z documentation”. It’s more useful for automating the busy work

Programming@programming.dev•Any good computer vision research communities?English
2·2 years agoYah those all sound great. I’d add some 3D libs as well (Open3D and PCL) and probs deep learning libs (PyTorch). Might as well put a section on Segment Anything too because meta is gonna automate us

Programming@programming.dev•The hardest part of building software is not coding, it’s requirementsEnglish
2·2 years agoYou’re right, the best part about AI is automating the annoying part of actually implementing what you want to code. Now you have more time to think about requirements and sped up the process to maybe get several iterations to really refine a product. However, ChatGPT is gonna stay as a helper function writer for the next few years I think
Love coffee as a hobby for this reason. You can start with $20 to get simple pour over equipment or even nicer venas but you can go far and high with it eventually or stop at the $20
