Local - I guess they’re doing ok? I don’t hear much about them but the sewer system and roads are working so they have to be doing something right.
National - I’m fatigued with them. I barely have any energy left to care what these useless cunts get up to.
City: Am happy, but it sucks that government abused the legal system to jail our municipality mayor.
Country: hell no, a big driver is previously mentioned reason but has a lot more reasons behind. Economy is fucked, corruption and injustice is everywhere, the government refuses to call off an early election despite 24 million people being in support of it, and the leading opposition party refuses to initiate it by resigning their parliament members, despite having more and more of their municipalities threatened and arrested over time.
city, and state = Fine and acceptable. Not any dramatic shift from the last 30 years.
country = we are fucked (USA)
As far as I can tell the USA, Britain,
Germany, Denmark, Italy, New Zealand, Russia, Australia and China are fucked. Fascism, nationalism, corporate capitalism, segregation, genocide, history erasure, political extremism and regression… Looking pretty fucking bleak. I’d include Palestine but it was formatted by Britain and replaced with Israel, and it doesn’t technically exist like it used to.
