I predict a lot of salty people reading your comment are going to studiously ignore the fact that Europe as it stands now has been shaped pretty much purely by thousands of years worth of wars, which required the invention of all kinds of weapons and warfare tactics. And that’s before the European powers took all that on the road in the colonial era.
