A backlash is brewing against Meta over what it permits its AI chatbots to say.

An internal Meta policy document, seen by Reuters, showed the social media giant’s guidelines for its chatbots allowed the AI to “engage a child in conversations that are romantic or sensual”, generate false medical information, and assist users in arguing that Black people are “dumber than white people”.

      Emotionally manipulating people?

      They’ve been doing unethical experimentation on humans, categorically. They’ve been selling what they’ve learned to hack democracy. They’re now selling radicalization as a service.

      This organization is more evil than any of us can imagine…Genuinely, no human can comprehend the sheer scale of the evil they’ve created

    How odd that a single policy document okayed white supremacism, false medical information and pedophilia.

    It’s almost as if the three are all somehow interrelated - like they’re all promoted by and for the same people.
