What I want to know is when will we have network transparency again in Wayland or at least an interface for it and no waypipe is not the answer.

Why is waypipe not the answer?

Cause it’s just translating to x and back to Wayland and has to be preset up on both ends it needs to be Universal like how ex was so having it built into the actual Wayland protocol is the only solution.

You have a citation for this claim? I can’t find anything that backs it up.

I’ve never heard it called that before. It makes sense but I don’t like it.

Shit, just linux.

Use this community for anything related to linux for now, if it gets too huge maybe there will be some sort of meme/gaming/shitpost spinoff. Currently though… go nuts
