It sucks this app didn’t last. It’s really the best possible lemmy client imo. Seemed like it was making progress to. Oh well, maybe someone else will puck up the torch eventually

Ah that will be why - I’ve installed via f-droid and it’s on v1.9.11. I tried .12 direct from github but posts aren’t loading at all

I think swipe was fixed before 1.9.12, so maybe it’s not fixed. I’ll do some more testing.

1.9.12 encrypts the local database for some added security. There’s a chance that broken something. I’m also not sure if switching back and forth between F-Droid and manual install will cause issues. They are slightly different builds (different signing key).

A reinstall should fix the post loading, I hope, and I can look into the swipe gesture issue more.

Edit: I think I maybe have misunderstood your original comment. Are you swiping from the left side of the screen to the right, or from the right side of the screen to the left?

No luck with the reinstall unfortunately, but I’ll leave it til the f-droid build. It may be something to do with Google play being disabled on my device, because if I install .12 from Aurora the app attempts to load posts and then gives an error saying “check that Google play is enabled on your device before opening the app.”

I was swiping from the right side of the screen to the left to go back with Android’s gesture navigation, but it’s conflicting with Blorp’s gestures so the accounts page comes up instead of going back to the all feed.

Ahhh. I’m an iOS user so I was swiping left to right. I’ll fix right to left swipe on Android.

I should probably run through all the different Android installation methods myself to check for issues. Thank you for your patience here.
