Given the source of the complaint, by default that claim about that graffiti deserves the same presumption and level of concern as would one which a member of the Nazi Party claimed to be against the Arian Race - one should assume it’s self-serving propagandist bullshit from a Genocidal Racial Supremacist until proven otherwise.
Plenty of grafity all over Greece I’ve seen lately with phrases like “all IDF soldiers are murderers” and “Zionists not welcome” and “Israel is a terrorist state” etc.
I and basically all Greeks agree with those.
I suspect the butthurt reaction from the Israeli envoy will only increase sales of spray paint in Athens
Think it matters to the Israelis? Any criticism is antisemitic by their definition.
It matters to us.
I’m not going to justify swastikas and “heil hitlers” just because it is critical of Israel.
What did the graffiti say?

I recently traveled to Greece and did see some anti-zionist, not antisemitic, graffiti.
There was also a lot of fascist and Nazi related graffiti.
Was the nazi related graffiti pro or anti-fascist?
Pro-fascist. I saw a bunch of things like SS runes, Celtic crosses, etc.
