You say “they” as if states don’t have different districts. Boebert came from a right-leaning district, but was so toxic she couldn’t get re-elected there. So she had to move to an even more right district in order to win.

Yeah. Her saying “don’t you know who I am!?” and flipping off the workers after getting kicked out for refusing to stop vaping indoors and near pregnant women and performing public sexual acts at a musical where kids were in attendance… That’s pure Florida.

If I recall new Mexico is the only state that had a full Democrat victory this last election with not one republican winning a single seat so pretty blue

Hey take some cities as enclaves too. Blue cities in red states don’t deserve that kind of punishment.

I think the red area should get alberta, maybe saskatchewan too. And I would personally like to see the Alaska pan handle transferred to B.C.

Realistically this wouldn’t be possible, at least in the way most people assume. It’s hard for people to just uproot their whole lives and move to another state (though it’s easier these days), a partition like this would mean leaving behind a lot of liberal minded people, who are too poor or too rooted in a place.

I’m sure the sane people in those new Canadian provinces would want universal healthcare, but would they be willing to give up their guns? I think most of Canada is appalled at the gun violence in the US and would make giving up guns an unconditional requirement of joining Canada.

Deaths by firearm, per 100,000 people, are about 1/7 the number in Canada as it is in America.

America has over 200 school shootings a year. 2024 saw a near record with 330 school shootings.

Canada? 6 in its entire history. To get to the grand total of 9, you would have to include post-secondary institutions.

If you truly want to “think about the children”, firearm control comes wwwaaaaaaayyyyy before banning books and taking away lunches.
