My brother accidentally spoiled me on that. I made a joke about him dying after watching the first episode because he was played by Sean Bean and he was all “How did you know?”
I knew about Oberyn dying because I played as Tiny against Viper in Dota 2 and crushed him and someone was like " just like Mountain kills the Red Viper in GoT" or something, I was still on the edge of my seat watching the mountain vs viper fight scene and hoping they subverted expectations or some shit
I knew Eddard Stark died at the end of A Game of Thrones but foreknowledge of what happened didn’t prepare me for reading the scene.
