Yeah, but isn’t he Christian? I think “Jesus Walks” was one of his songs. Jesus was absolutely Jewish and Christianity was a sect of Judaism for decades, maybe even hundreds of years. I’ll never understand hating the people that founded your religion.
It’s not controversial that today’s Christianity is descended from people who saw themselves as Christian Jews, Jews who followed who they believed was the Messiah. I’m just saying that there is no inherent contradiction in following Jesus and hating the Jews who did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus being a Jew himself doesn’t really matter, since in this situation he’s kind of a special case.

If you’re a Christian, you believe that Jesus was the Messiah and that modern Jews deny that. It’s not really a contradiction.
