Just have everyone join the queue and call it a day, or better yet, make release day a Nintendo only thing, and then after pre-orders are handled, then start giving to the stores.
I think he meant to just not ship to stores until all the online, pre-release orders had been delivered.
Shipping probably already started.
B2B deals will have fine print about when units will arrive and be “released”.
