minus-square@pathief@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglish11•edit-25 months ago E: refunded Mirror’s Edge, it was running at like 5 FPS on low settings. In the future try checking ProtonDB before buying/refunding. For Mirror’s Edge in particular, it seems all you have to do is disable PhysX. ProtonDB is an amazing tool, everyone should check it out!
minus-squaremohablinkfedilinkEnglish4•5 months agoIf anyone can afford it, I recommend the Neva + Gris bundle. Neva is even better, IMO.
minus-square@Snoopey@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglish1•5 months agoWere there any physx settings turned on when running Mirror’s Edge? It can bring a 5090 to it’s knees due to removal of 32bit physx support. Great recent gamer’s nexus video on it. Anyway, physx running on the CPU with Mirror’s Edge kills fps

Gris is great. Small, but beautiful.
